From Italian father and Austrian
mother, Alberto was born in Egypt, where he graduated from French schools.
Since he was a child, he developed his artistic gifts, specially drawing,
painting, sculpting and engraving.
He participated in several expositions
in his homeland, in Israel, Greece and Italy, where he had a short stay.
In 1957, he came to Brazil, dedicating
his skills to shop windows decoration with paper sculptures, and then
interior decoration, furniture projects and design, as well as business
installations and finally graphic arts.
In 1967 he revolutionized the plastic
arts with the use of polyester resins and fiberglass for painting and
sculpting and instead of the traditional canvas he uses as support the
"Canvas card", invented by himself in this time.
He creates the personalized card of
votes, made with ink drawing, quite published by companies and public
departments.
In 1977 it sets up his atelier, open
to the people, in Itanhaém, exposing paintings, drawings, engravings,
sculptures and several other handcraft objects, while he continues
researching new modalities of communication " artist / people ", since his
current goal is to change the secular forms of artistic manifestation:
polyester paintings on fiberglass canvas.
It is in this small city on the coast,
very well known as "the girlfriend of the sun" that the artist,
autodidactic, looked for the inspiration for new series of
works.
It resided some years in Poços de
Caldas, where he elaborated several tourism guides.
In 1994 he went back to Itanhaém,
where he resides currently.
